Atik Mason Indigenous Pilot Pathway Program
I had the opportunity to create the original look and feel for the Atik Mason Indigenous Pilot Pathway, a fully funded, world-class flight training program that helps Indigenous people pursue a career as professional pilots. The goal was to build a flexible set of social media templates that could grow with the program. Two years later, they're still using the same visual style. The team regularly sends me new photos and copy, and I update the templates to keep everything fresh while maintaining a consistent visual identity. Along the way, I've also had the opportunity to create content for Indigenous holidays, community events, student stories, and program milestones. Working closely with the team has been a rewarding experience, and it's taught me the importance of listening first and creating designs that reflect the stories they want to tell. Since then, I've also developed the visual identity for Life in Flight, another Exchange Income Corporation program. I helped launch its social media presence, created a full set of brand guidelines, and designed templates that gave the program its own personality while making it easy to build on as it continues to grow..
